How to set up a custom domain for Forms

You can host your Leat forms on your own branded domain, such as forms.yourbrand.com, or use your own Leat subdomain.

Written by Mishal Ahamed Ibrahim

Step 1: Add your domain

  1. In the Leat dashboard, go to Settings.

  2. Select Forms.

  3. Click Add domain.

  4. Choose the domain you want to use.

You can use either a Leat subdomain or your own custom domain.

A Leat subdomain is approved immediately. If you choose your own custom domain, you'll need to configure a CNAME record.

Step 2: Choose your domain

Enter the domain you would like to use for your forms.

When using a Leat domain, enter your preferred name. Your form domain will end in:

.forms.leat.com

For example:

yourbrand.forms.leat.com

Once you've entered your preferred domain, click Next.

Step 3: Verify your domain

Continue to the Verify step and complete the verification shown in Leat.

For a Leat subdomain, approval is immediate.

If you're setting up your own custom domain, you'll need to configure the required CNAME record and then verify the domain in Leat.

Good to know: A custom domain may show as Verified while Google is still issuing the SSL certificate. This can take up to 10 minutes, and the form may not load until the certificate has been issued.
