If you want to follow up an e-mail campaign by following up on recipients who did not open the previous campaign, follow the steps below to export the list of recipients, reimport those who did not open it, and create a new mailing list list.

1: proceed to ‘Marketing’ and select ‘campaigns’

2: choose the specific email campaign you would like to follow up on, it should be on ‘sent’ status

3: locate the ‘recipients’ tab on the left hand side, then press ‘export’

4: to access the exported file, click 'Data' at the top of the dashboard and select 'Exports'. Choose the export you generated and click 'Download'.

5: once you have your file of recipients, you will need to filter out all contacts with ‘opened’ status in Excel or another application.

6: You will then need to complete a contact import with the filtered list via 'Data' and then ‘Imports’.

Start a New Import and make sure to choose ‘Contacts’ as the import type. Note: you only need to import the contact email addresses so you can create a mailing list.

Next, follow the steps below to create a new list from those imported contacts who did not open the email:

1: Navigate to ‘CRM’ and select ‘Lists’. Create a new static list.

2: Click on ‘Create’ and you’ll be sent to the overview page for the list. On the right hand side, you can see the ‘Active filters’.

3: To start creating your list based on filters, click ‘+ Filter group’. Use the contact attribute 'Present in import' to create a list with just the contacts from your import!

4: Click on exit button in the top right hand corner and then ‘Close’ to apply the selected filters and create the list.
