When working with the dashboard, there are quite a lot of words we use that might not be immediately clear. This article is there to help you get-up-to-speed. It will also tell you where we can find and adjust settings related to these terms.

Keywords within your Dashboard

Forms

  • A form is a way you can get collect information, arrange sign-ups, or get feedback from your customers.

    • Underneath CRM → Forms you can find all the forms that you are currently using, create new forms, or edit existing forms.

Contact Attributes

  • A contact attribute is a piece of information specific to a customer, like their first name, last name, their age, the company they work for. You can create many additional customer attributes to collect more data, which you can, for example, use to specify rewards, vouchers, create segmented customer lists, or build automations on.

    • To create and manage contact attributes, you will need to navigate to your General Settings (the cogwheel!) -> Attributes

Lists

  • A list is the way to segment your customers into different groupings. Based on information related to them. This can also be custom attributes

Contact Identifier

  • This is how a customer identifies themself within the system. Their e-mail, their WalletPass QR code, a license plate.

    • Underneath CRM → Identifiers you can see a full list of identifiers that are in use. Allowing you to edit which identifier is linked to what contact.

Automation

  • An automation is there to automate actions that you do not want to do manually. Actions you want to have happen behind the scenes without needing constant manual intervention.

    • Within your Dashboard you can click on Automations to configure different Automations, such as automating a birthday e-mail, a welcome flow, retention, reward updates and more.

Tiers

  • Within your Loyalty program you can have different Tiers available. Allowing you to create a sense of progression within your loyalty program, as customers move up in Tier depending on their amount of visits, amount spent or another metric you want to encourage.

    • Navigate to Loyalty -> Tiers to create, manage, or update existing tiers.

    • Check out this Blog post to discover best practices with tier based loyalty.

Rewards

  • A reward is something your customer can earn with loyalty points (or credits). X amount of points = a reward. Where the amount of points, reward, and amount of redemptions possible can be further specified.

    • Under Loyalty -> Rewards you can find all current rewards, adjust them, or create new rewards.

Voucher

  • A voucher is a promotional item that you can use to give away a free item, a discount, or something else entirely. Different from a reward because you can claim a reward repeatedly, and in most instances a voucher is a one-off.

    • Under Loyalty -> Vouchers & Promotions you can find all current vouchers, adjust them, or create new vouchers.

Giftcard

  • A giftcard is a 'card' that holds value, allowing you to directly take value off a bill by using this card.

    • Under Store -> Giftcards you can start the configuration of your giftcard program. Keep in mind that to add value to a giftcard, an integration with a payment provider will need to be made. Like Mollie (link Mollie).

Automated e-mails

  • An automated e-mail is what you use for e-mails that you send out regularly, and are the same for everyone. For example, an e-mail to welcome customers to the loyalty program.

    • You can find and create new automated e-mail from Marketing -> Automated emails.

Campaigns

  • A campaign is what you use for event e-mails, or singular informative moments. For example, an e-mail inviting customers for a mother's day event or when you have a special weekend deal.

    • You can find and create new campaign e-mails from Marketing -> Campaigns.

Wallet Pass

  • The Wallet Pass is a digital 'card' that is within your phone's wallet. For your loyalty program you can design a WalletPass that acts as a customer's member card.

    • To change the look & feel of the Wallet Pass, navigate to Apps -> Wallet Pass. To adjust the digital member card customers use, you will use the Contact Identifier.

Contact Portal

  • This is a webpage where customers can log-in to check their rewards.

    • Underneath Apps → Contact Portal you can adjust the settings, formatting, and content of this webpage.

Personal Access Token*

  • This is a unique token you can generate that allow you to facilitate API connections. Essentially it acts as a way to identify who is requesting information from our database. Like a key specific to our lock.

    • Underneath Apps -> Integrations -> Personal Access Tokens
You can generate your own Token.
