After installing the integration for Lightspeed K-Series, customers can redeem their rewards and vouchers during the ordering process. In this article we explain how that process works!
During the installation of the integration between Leat <-> Lightspeed K series, we added a button to your Lightspeed POS that allows you to scan Loyalty cards. If you haven't added this button to your POS yet, please follow these instructions.
Step-by-Step Reward/Voucher Redemption
The customer has built up a tab of different items, which have all been entered into the POS for processing. The customer wants to claim a reward and/or voucher.
Alternatively, the customer comes up to you at the till right away to claim a reward and/or voucher. The flow will be very similar.
Within your Lightspeed POS, you should see the extra button that you added during the installation of the integration. In the photo below this button is: ~Leat.
After pushing this ~Leat button, you can then push the All-in-One button. This will open your camera so you can scan their loyalty card.
If they do not have their Loyalty card with them, you can use their e-mail adres.
Once you've scanned their Loyalty Card, you are brought to the Rewards screen. Here you can see all the different rewards that are available, and also see what rewards are available for redemption.
- Important to note, if the reward is a percentage (%) or fixed (€) amount discount, this reward needs to be claimed after items have been added to the bill.
a. In the case you want to redeem a Voucher, you can press the Vouchers on the right hand side. Here you will see all the vouchers the customer has available.
For Vouchers redemption, it is important to keep two things in mind.
- If the Voucher is a percentage (%) or fixed (€) amount discount, this voucher needs to be claimed after items have been added to the bill.
- If the Voucher is for a free item (like a free coffee) then it can be claimed without items having been added to the bill.
Make sure you select the right reward (or voucher) the customer asked, and then press Close in the left-hand-corner.
Important to note: If there are two eligible items for the same reward, you will be asked which of the items the reward is redeemed for.
If no items are on the bill yet, you will be prompted to choose an item. Make sure you select the right item for the customer!
Once the window has been closed, you can proceed with the payment for the order, or continue to add items to their bill if they want to continue.
