Giftcard data is useful for analytical purposes but also for accounting. It's a good idea to check with your accountant how you can properly process this information. The transactions data includes the card number, time, date, location, and channel for each transaction. Both the topping up of a card balance and the withdrawal transactions are considered.
To manually create a gift card transaction, navigate to 'Store'->‘Gift cards’ and select ‘Transactions’ from the dropdown menu.
You will then reach the overview. Here you can locate the ‘filters’ button on the top left corner to access more specific information. It is possible to further filter on the dates, shops, card & channel.
On the right hand side of the overview you can find the export button to export this information if necessary.
Pending transactions
The Pending tab on the Gift Card Transactions page shows gift card transactions that have been created, but for which LEAT has not yet received a payment confirmation.
LEAT automatically sends email notifications when one or more transactions remain pending. These notifications help you identify potential payment, checkout, or integration issues that may require investigation.
A transaction typically remains pending because LEAT has not yet received confirmation that the related order was successfully paid and completed. To prevent an incorrect gift card balance, LEAT will not finalize the transaction until this confirmation is received.
Once a payment confirmation is received, the transaction will automatically be processed and removed from the Pending tab. Until then, any balance changes associated with the transaction are not applied.
If a transaction remains pending for an extended period of time, we recommend reviewing the related order or payment flow to verify that the payment was completed successfully.
