To set up gift cards in your Leat WooCommerce plugin, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Create gift card products in your Wordpress store
Go to the sidebar and click Products → Add New Product.
Fill in the product name and description, set the gift card value, and choose the tax status
Step 2: Access the Leat plugin on Wordpress
Log in to Wordpress back-office and navigate to your installed plugins. Find Leat and press 'settings'
Step 3: Locate and configure the gift card settings
Find and select the 'Giftcards' tab. Here you will find a series of settings for both selling and redeeming giftcards via your webshop. Make your desired selections and press save.
Step 4: Design the Gift Card Recipient Email in the Leat dashboard
Now head back to the Leat business dashboard. When a customer purchases a gift card, an automatic email is sent to the recipient containing the gift card details. You need to design this email template to match your branding and messaging.
