When a new digital gift card is created via the Dashboard or through an online purchase, you need to have a recipient email set up so that the customer receives their card number, card expiry date and any other relevant information you might want to include. To create this email, follow the steps below:
Head to Settings → System emails, then locate Giftcard recipient email and click Edit email.
Complete your desired design on the ‘Content’ page but leave room for a QR-code which will act as the actual digital Gift Card.
On the right hand side, locate the 'Giftcard' button under 'Content' and drag & drop this field into your email in the desired position.
Finally, under the Information tab, configure the email subject and select the sender profile that should be used for this email.
