How to find bounces and spam reports

  1. Log in to your Leat dashboard.

  2. Navigate to Settings → Marketing.

  3. Scroll all the way to the bottom of the page.

  4. Find the Bounces and spam reports section.

Here, you can view information about email delivery issues and spam complaints.

What are hard bounces?

A hard bounce occurs when an email cannot be delivered permanently.

This can happen when:

  • The email address does not exist.

  • The recipient's domain does not accept emails.

  • The email address contains a typo, such as gmail.comc instead of gmail.com.

The hard bounce list shows the affected contact and the email associated with the delivery failure.

What are spam reports?

A spam report occurs when a recipient marks one of your emails as spam.

You can view these contacts in the spam reports list under Settings → Marketing.

Automatic unsubscribes

By default, Leat automatically unsubscribes contacts when they experience a hard bounce or submit a spam report.

The contact is unsubscribed from the subscription type associated with the affected email.

Both automatic unsubscribe options are enabled by default, but you can disable them if needed.

How are these lists updated?

Leat automatically adds new hard bounces and spam reports to the corresponding lists as emails are sent.

This helps you identify email delivery issues without having to check your email provider separately.

Exporting bounces and spam reports

You can export either list as a CSV file.
