How to Configure the Contacts Portal (and Web-app)

The Contact Portal is a web page (and web app) where customers can easily log in to view their loyalty information, check their point balance, access rewards and vouchers on the dedicated My Benefits page, and update their profile information.

Depending on your loyalty setup, contacts can also view their loyalty tier progress, track their progress towards the next reward, or see their prepaid credit balance through the profile card.

Important: The contact portal cannot be linked to the wallet pass!

  1. Accessing the Contacts Portal:

    • Click on 'Apps' and select ‘contacts portal’ from the dropdown.

  2. Overview and Integrations:

    • Click on "Edit contact portal". Then click on "Settings" and "Business Information".

    • Select the business profile to link to the contact portal.

    • To set up or update your payment integrations, follow the steps below:

    • From the left-hand side of the screen, click "Payment Methods".

    • Click Go to payment provider and select your desired payment gateway

  3. Linking Your Own Domain:

    • Click on "Edit contact portal". Then click on "Settings"

    • Select ‘domains’ on the left-hand side to link your own custom domain or use a Leat sub-domain.

    • Press ‘link domain’ in the top right corner and use the DNS records to proceed.

  4. Editing the Portal's Appearance:

    • Click on "Edit contact portal".

    • Click on "Content" to configure and display your logo and cover image.

  5. Editing Portal Pages:

    • On the left side, you will see the different pages you can edit, grouped into sections such as Authentication and account, Content, and Other pages. These include pages like Login, Login code, Sign up, Account settings, Home, My Benefits, Giftcards, Prepaid, Link your contact identifier, and Download wallet pass. Select a page to edit its content, layout, and settings.

    • On the right side, you can edit the content, section titles, images, and settings for the selected page. Changes are reflected immediately in the live preview, making it easy to see how the portal will appear to your contacts.

  6. Registration Attributes:

    • On the Sign up page, click the + icon next to Attributes to select the fields customers need to fill out when signing up through the app.

  7. Loyalty Features on the Home Page:

    • On the Home page, you can configure the content that contacts see when they log in to the portal. This includes the Profile card, which displays loyalty information such as tier progress, point balance, or prepaid credit balance, as well as additional content sections like Referral. Rewards and vouchers are grouped together on the dedicated My Benefits page, making it easier for contacts to view their available benefits.

Automated Emails:

  • Finally, design and then connect the different automated emails via the 'settings'->'apps'->'emails'.

  • These include the ‘login email’ and ‘registration email’.
