To adjust the settings of your loyalty program, navigate to ‘Loyalty’ and select ‘Settings’ from the dropdown.
Once on the settings page, you can see the name of your loyalty program, as well as the name of the points system. In addition to this, you can view the point limit per contact and adjust it.
In the next tab, you can see units. The unit being used here is ’Purchase amount’ or how much people have spent. To add a new unit, simply click ‘Create’ and enter the label, prefix, format, and whether or not you want this to be the default setting. In this case, we use ‘false’ for default setting as we are only measuring coffee beans for a specific example.
To use this new unit, navigate to ‘Loyalty’ and ‘Transactions’ to create a new transaction using this unit.
Navigate back to ‘Loyalty’ and ‘Settings’ to find the ‘Transaction attributes’ tab, where you can configure extra data for transactions, such as product type. Configure the name, in this case ‘product type’, and choose your data attribute type, such as ‘multi select’ or ‘select’. Click ‘Create’ to finish this process.
Now on the overview page for ‘Transaction attributes’ simply select the attribute you’ve made to configure the options. You can add a label to measure coffee machine purchases rather than just coffee.
To use this transaction attribute, navigate back to ‘Loyalty’ and ‘Transactions’. You can now select an existing transaction and add the attribute to it, so that it is now marked as a coffee machine purchase.
The final tab is ‘Reward attributes’ where you can do the same as in ‘Transaction attributes’. Here you can give your reward attributes a name, data type, and options once created. Once you have configured these fields, you can mark transactions with the appropriate reward attributes.
