On the dashboard, it is possible to make exclusive rewards only available to a specific group of customers. These can be for a special group determined by a contact attribute. They can also run parallel to your Tiers, so your regular setup can include silver and gold members, but also special deals for employees or partners.

  1. To set up a special customer group, head to ‘settings’→’custom attributes’, and select ‘new attribute’.

  2. Use the ‘select’ data type for your new attribute and once it has been created, go to the tab ‘selection options’ and press ‘new option’.

  3. Here, you may create a few different customer groups such as employee, partner or local. You can also simply add a ‘yes’ option to differentiate your group.

Once you have generated the attribute and options, you can now create a special deal.

Head to ‘loyalty’→’rewards’ and create your new deal. Then, head to the ‘visibility’ section and create a filter on the attribute for your group.

You can also include this attribute as a 'hidden' default value in the Forms feature, to make a special sign up process for these customers (see our article on how to make a Form for more!). You can also manually set members to this group on their contact profile.
