Geolocation push notifications let you automatically reach customers when they’re near your location, making it easy to share timely offers or reminders. It’s a simple way to stay top-of-mind and encourage visits without needing to send messages manually. Follow the steps below to customise your location push notifications.
Set the address of a location. Navigate to the settings in the top right-hand corner of your business dashboard. In settings, choose ‘Profiles’ from the left-hand menu. Choose the respective profile and go to the ‘Address’ tab to configure the address for this location.
To configure your push notifications, select settings -> 'Apps' and scroll down to ‘Wallet pass’ and select ‘Edit Design’. The message per location can be edited in the 'notifications' tab of the wallet pass editor. This can be enabled/disabled by the customer in the Apple wallet settings of their device. Now you’re all set!
Important: It is not possible to manually send push notifications at will however, the message per location is updated in real time, so you can update it whenever you want, a valuable tool for season deals/advertising.
