How to set up a Klaviyo integration

Everything you need in our dashboard to use the Klaviyo integration

The Klaviyo integration lets you build flows (in Klaviyo) using events in our system and include our loyalty data tags in your Klaviyo marketing. Best of all, you can leverage our powerful CRM & Loyalty tools without having to migrate your entire marketing & automation setup from Klaviyo to our system.

Integrating

1: Click on ‘apps’ and then ‘integrations’ from the dropdown menu

2: Once on the marketplace containing all our integrations, scroll down to Klaviyo and install it. You will be asked to input your credentials and enable permissions in Klaviyo.

3: Once the integration is installed, you’ll be pushed back to the Leat dashboard. There you should see the following message:

4: Click on the link to ‘setup your events’ in Klaviyo. This will ask you which ‘events’ you want to sync, we recommend selecting ‘All events’ but you can specify specifically which events.

5: Following setup, we recommend creating a test contact within the Leat dashboard to confirm that the information is sent back ↔ forth with Klaviyo. You could add points to the account, for example, to see a credit reception is also shown as a created ‘event’ within Klaviyo.

Important: In the instance that Klaviyo is the primary email marketing tool, do not turn on these the following events:

Contact Was Subscribed

Contact Was Unsubscribed

Subscription Type Updated

They interfere with Klaviyo’s subscription, and will cause issues if enabled.

Now you can create and manage flows in Klaviyo using triggers and data from Leat. For any questions regarding how to build the flows, please reach out to Klaviyo support as we don’t have information about this.
