Vouchers are a great way to improve engagement and take advantage of unique marketing opportunities. Running promotions is a key part of a business, and depending on your sales channels it does not always make sense to include a voucher’s QR code in the E-mail. If you're using a POS system, kiosk integration, or the business app, the voucher’s QR code is essential.
For e-commerce, however, it is typically not needed. Customers can redeem vouchers by entering a code at checkout, so adding the QR code is optional.
Add a Voucher QR code to your E-mail campaign
To add a Voucher to the E-mail itself, make sure you have first created the Voucher. Then, in the email editor, go to the left-hand side and select your voucher from the Voucher dropdown under 'Actions'.
Click ‘Submit’ to assign the voucher to the email campaign.
Add a Voucher Wallet Pass to Your Email
Voucher wallet passes are now supported in emails. You can now add a voucher to the Add to Wallet button, alongside the existing Loyalty Card and Gift Card options.
In the email editor, drag and drop the Add to Wallet design element into your email.
Click on the Add to Wallet button in the email design.
In the panel on the right-hand side, click Configure Wallet Pass.
Under the wallet pass options, select Voucher.
Save your changes to apply the voucher wallet pass to the email.
Recipients will now be able to save their voucher directly to their mobile wallet for quick and convenient access.
If you would then like to add a QR code to the email design, you need to follow this up by dragging and dropping the ‘Voucher’ design icon from the right hand side.
Now, for every contact their unique voucher will be redeemable by scanning this code at the respective POS or Kiosk.
