Note: This process is for loyalty cards (identifiers) only. Gift cards are anonymous and cannot be imported this way.

Import unassigned cards: If you already have a bunch of loyalty cards from another program, it might be possible to keep using them. If the cards have a QR code displayed on them and you have a list of corresponding QR code values, you can import and continue giving them out to customers.

Matching cards to customers: If you also have customer email addresses associated with those QR code numbers, you can link each card to the correct contact. Then, with an import of their loyalty balances, outstanding cards can continue to be used!

Important: the card number printed on the card is not always the same as the corresponding QR code value of that card. Make sure you're importing the correct value!

If your cards match the criteria, follow the steps below to import:

Go to 'Data' and select ‘Imports’.

Select ‘New import’

Choose ‘Identifiers’ as the import type. Depending on wether or not a customer is already assigned to and using this loyalty card, make your selection and then proceed.

Select your contact file (ensure it is in CSV format). Click ‘Next Step’ to proceed.

Under ‘Data’, select the columns in your file that contains the number corresponding to the QR code on the card. Simply select 'assign' on your column, and then click ‘Identifier value’. Click ‘Next Step’ to proceed.

Click on ‘Import’ to begin the process. After pressing 'import' will then be jumped to the imports page to monitor the progress of your import.
