This article is relevant only when selling digital gift cards via the contacts portal or widget.
If you're selling Leat gift cards via the contacts portal or widget and a customer did not get their gift card, you can check in the system if the card was delivered.
1. If you don't already know when it was purchased in the widget or portal. Go to Store > Internal Store and locate the relevant order. Click on the order to confirm the purchase date, time, and recipient’s email address.
2. Navigate to Marketing > Automated Emails and select the gift card recipient email.
3. Search for the recipient’s email address under Recipients and cross-check the date and time with the order timestamp. Check whether the status shows Delivered.
If the status is marked as Delivered, ask the customer to check their Spam folder, Promotions tab, or search their inbox for the sender name or “gift card”.
