Creating a Recurring Email
Select a Recurring Email Type
When creating a recurring email, you'll first need to choose a preset.
The available presets are:
Empty email – Start with a blank recurring email and configure the audience, conditions, and schedule yourself.
Celebrate birthdays – Automatically send birthday emails to your contacts.
Retention email – Automatically reach out to contacts who haven't visited in a while.
Loyalty update – Send your contacts a recurring update about their loyalty points balance.
Choose an Email Template
After selecting a preset, choose the email template you would like to use.
You can either:
Select an existing template.
Create a new template if needed.
Configure the Audience
Open the Audience tab to choose who should receive the recurring email.
You can:
Configure the Conditions
Open the Conditions tab.
The options available here depend on the preset you selected.
For example:
Celebrate birthdays – Choose whether to send the email on a contact's birthday or a specified number of days before.
Retention email – Configure how many days should pass since a contact's last visit before they receive the email.
Loyalty update – Configure how often the loyalty update email should be sent to your contacts.
Configure the Schedule
Open the Schedule tab.
Select the time at which the recurring email should run each day.
The system will automatically evaluate your audience according to the selected conditions and send the email at the scheduled time.
Review and Activate
Once you've finished configuring your recurring email:
Review all of your settings, including the content, audience, conditions, and schedule.
Optionally, click Send a test email to preview how the email will look.
Click Review and activate.
Confirm your settings to activate the recurring email.
Once activated, Leat will automatically check for eligible contacts every day at the scheduled time and send the email to anyone who matches the configured conditions.
