Creating a Points Issuance
In your Leat dashboard, go to Loyalty → Points issuances.
Click New issuance.
Enter the details of your issuance:
Name – Give the issuance a recognizable name.
Description – Add a description explaining what the points are for.
Points – Enter the number of points each contact should receive.
Business profile – Select the business profile for the issuance.
Choose the issuance type
Next, choose how you want the points to be issued:
One-off – The points are issued once when you click Issue now.
Recurring – The issuance runs according to the schedule you set and follows the audience as it changes.
For example, you could create a recurring issuance to give points to everyone in a specific tier. Each time the issuance runs, it will use the contacts who are part of that audience at that moment.
Send an email notification
If you want recipients to receive an email about the points they've received, enable the email toggle.
If you don't want to send an email, leave the toggle disabled.
Select your audience
Go to the Audience tab and click Configure.
You can choose to issue the points to all contacts, or narrow down the audience using:
Contact lists
Tiers
Selection of contacts
Configure the audience based on the group of contacts you want to receive the points.
Create and issue the points
Once you've configured the issuance and audience:
Click Create.
Review the issuance using Preview.
Make sure the details and audience are correct.
Click Issue now to issue the points.
For a one-off issuance, the points will be issued when you click Issue now. For a recurring issuance, the points will be issued according to the schedule you've configured.
